Hasbro has tapped Warwick Brenner as its new VP of EMEA consumer products. Brenner will be based out of the toyco’s UK office, where he will focus on expanding into new categories, channels and markets.
Previously, Brenner lead consumer products and business development initiatives at DreamWorks Animation and The Walt Disney Company, and he joins Hasbro from Worldwide Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), where he served as VP of consumer products and retail for EMEA and ANZ. Hasbro also recently appointed former WWE exec Casey Collins as its new SVP and GM of global consumer products.
Last year, Hasbro inked an agreement to acquire a number of entertainment properties from Saban Brands—including the billion-dollar Power Rangers franchise—for approximately US$522 million. This deal was done after Saban Brands tapped Hasbro as global master toy licensee for the Power Rangers brand, effective April 1.
