The UK’s Coolabi Group has cut the ceremonial ribbon and unveiled WarriorCats.com, a new online hub and merchandise store for its fan-favorite Warrior Cats (Warriors) brand.
Created by Coolabi Group’s company Working Partners, the Warriors fantasy book series has sold more than 40 million copies around the world. The books are written by a team of story writers, authors and editors under the name Erin Hunter and detail the adventures of five clans of wild cats (ShadowClan, RiverClan, ThunderClan, WindClan and StarClan).
The new online hub is designed to be the official digital destination for the brand’s global fan community and will include information about the books, quizzes and polls, articles and opinion pieces from the Erin Hunter team, and news about brand extensions (like the upcoming feature film). For the first time, official Warriors merchandise will be available for purchase, featuring character icons for each clan on products such as apparel, accessories, canvas prints and stationery.
Additionally, the Warriors hub will feature content from fans including art, animation and fiction. Since the first Warriors book hit shelves in 2003, fans have launched more than 500 dedicated Warriors YouTube channels, with user-generated content racking up more than 400 million views on the platform.
The debut of the Warriors hub comes in the wake of Coolabi Group joining forces with online retailer Star Editions to open a dedicated online shop for its preschool property Clangers.
