Amazon has announced that this holiday season was a record-breaking one, with more items ordered worldwide than ever before. Customers bought products in unprecedented volume in every department, but some of the platform’s best-selling products were kid-focused, including the Alexa-enabled Echo Dot and L.O.L. Surprise! Glam Glitter Series Doll (pictured).

Consumers who shopped on Amazon purchased millions more of its devices such as tablets and voice-activated Echo, Echo Dot and Alexa Voice Remote products. And it was a particularly big holiday season for Amazon’s kids tech lines, with the Echo Dot Kids Edition (which was just released in April) and Fire Kids Edition tablet selling in record-setting numbers.

As for toys, the L.O.L. Surprise! Glam Glitter Series Doll, Nerf N-Strike Elite Strongarm Blaster, Melissa & Doug Scratch Art Rainbow Mini Notes with Wooden Stylus, Crayola Inspiration Art Case and LEGO Creator Mighty Dinosaurs posted top sales in the US and worldwide.

Interestingly, Amazon predicted that most of these brands (include Nerf, L.O.L. Surprise and Melissa & Doug) would have SKUs amongst the top 25 holiday toys and games back in August, but it was off on IDing the top-performing products
