London-based startup Tech Will Save Us received US$2 million in funding from Brighteye Ventures, an extension of the US$4.2 million in Series A funding led by Initial Capital earlier this year.

The additional funding from Brighteye Ventures will allow the company to grow its DIY toy offerings, which feature “hackable” STEAM products.¬†The funding will also contribute to the company’s ongoing expansion into additional global territories with a focus on Europe.

In March, Tech Will Save Us partnered with Disney to launch a Marvel Avengers-themed electronic kit (pictured) designed to teach kids about electricity through conductive dough.
