Walt Disney Animation Studios is not just looking to break the internet; it’s going after virtual reality now, too. On November 21, tying in with the Ralph Breaks the Internet premiere, movie theaters in the US will also be opening Ralph Breaks VR—a themed virtual reality experience.

Immersive VR creator the VOID, a past participant in the Disney Accelerator program, teamed up with Lucasfilm’s ILMxLAB division and Walt Disney Animation Studios to create the four-person immersive game experience that challenges players to interact with movie characters Wreck-It Ralph and Vanellope von Schweetz and break into the internet.

The ILMxLAB/VOID partnership is part of a broader Disney Studios innovation program called StudioLAB, which aims to advance storytelling through technology. The two companies also collaborated on last year’s Star Wars: Secrets of the Empire VR experience that lets players compete against Stormtroopers. Theater locations that previously hosted the Star Wars VR experience will now offer guests both options to choose from when they arrive.

Disney has really been pushing game innovation of late, having recently released Pancake Milkshake, which can only be played on iMessage for iOS devices, rather than running as a standalone app.
