Disney is gearing up to premiere its new animated adventure series LEGO Star Wars: All-Stars on Disney XD, DisneyNOW and YouTube on November 17. The four x 30-minute series also features eight shorts (which begin airing this week), and spans the entire Star Wars universe with LEGO versions of Kylo Ren, R2-D2, Young Han and General Leia.
Produced by Wil Film, the LEGO Group and Lucasfilm, LEGO Star Wars: All-Stars is due to hit screens at a time when Disney is very focused on its galaxy far, far away. The anime-inspired Star Wars Resistance series debuted on Disney Channel US, Disney Channel VOD and DisneyNOW earlier this month, with a plotline that follows a young pilot who is recruited to spy on the growing First Order, set in the period leading up to the events of 2015 film The Force Awakens.
Moving forward, the House of Mouse also has plans to support its upcoming streaming service with exclusive content inspired by the various Star Wars eras.
