Fan-favorite Pokémon character Pikachu will be available for the first time ever as a Funko Pop! vinyl figure this summer, thanks to The Pokémon Company International’s inaugural licensing deal with Everett, Washington-based toymaker Funko.

A four-inch stylized figure based on the popular franchise character will launch on July 29 as a Target exclusive, followed by a larger 10-inch Pikachu figure later this year. Further information about the products’ availability and future production release information will be posted on Funko’s website.

The deal comes two days after an announcement by Italian footwear and apparel company Geox that its first-ever kids entertainment character collection will be with TPCI for a line of 14 sneakers featuring Pokémon characters like Pikachu, Charizard and Jigglypuff.

Prior to the debut of Funko’s Pop! Pikachu figures, the company will launch an exclusive Scooby-Doo Funko Pop! on July 14 as part of a national hunger awareness campaign between Warner Bros.’ Scooby-Doo social responsibility initiative “Doo Good” and philanthropic pop-culture retailer BoxLunch.
