Geox & Pokemon step out with kids shoe line

The new range of kids and junior footwear is the first children's entertainment character collection for Geox.
July 11, 2018

The Pokémon Company International (TPCI) is partnering with Italian footwear and apparel company Geox to launch a children’s shoe range. This line marks Geox’s first-ever kids entertainment character collection.

The range is available throughout Europe in Geox stores and in stores selling Geox products. The autumn/winter collection includes 14 sneaker models featuring fan-favorite Pokémon characters like Pikachu, Charizard and Jigglypuff.

The line, which includes kids and junior sizes for boys and girls, will be supported by pop-ups, in-store events and Pokémon-branded windows in Geox stores across Europe.

Effective this month, Philadelphia-headquartered Wicked Cool Toys is the master toy licensee for the global Pokémon brand outside of Asia. Wicked Cool Toys has the rights to manufacture and market action figures, play sets, plush, role-play items and toys based on the property worldwide, excluding regions in Asia where the brand is managed by TPCI’s parent organization, The Pokémon Company. Initial items from Wicked Cool Toys are expected to hit retail this fall.
