YouTube channel Little Baby Bum is hitting center stage with its first live show. Little Baby Bum Live will tour across the UK until November, hitting more than 30 cities from Poole to Edinburgh with additional dates to come.

The stage show combines elements of puppetry, live-action elements and digital animation. It will feature fan-favorite characters Mia, Jacus and Twinkle, and will include music and dancing.

Little Baby Bum’s new stage show is in line with the continued popularity of location-based brand extensions, and live shows in particular. PBS KIDS series Wild Kratts recently announced it would return to the stage with its new Wild Kratts Live 2.0 Activate Creature Power show, and Sesame Workshop is partnering with Feld Entertainment to launch the new interactive production Sesame Street Live! Make Your Magic, which will feature stage magic from illusion designer Jim Steinmeyer.

Since launching in August 2011, the Little Baby Bum YouTube channel has grown to boast more than 15 million subscribers and over 16 billion views. Aimed at kids ages four and younger, the series originated in the UK and is now available in the US, Canada, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Russia, Australia, New Zealand and throughout South America.

Little Baby Bum first expanded into consumer products in 2016 when New Jersey’s Surge Licensing, the worldwide licensing agent for Little Baby Bum owner El Bebe Productions, tapped UK-based Licensing Link to represent the brand in the UK and Ireland in categories spanning infant toys, publishing, electronic learning and apparel. Commonwealth Toys, meanwhile, inked an agreement to create a line of plush and other soft toys for the US and UK, while Parragon was brought on board to launch a publishing range that included storybooks, activity books, board books and sound books.
