Sesame Street to launch collection with Uniqlo

Featuring illustrations from graffiti artist KAWS, the apparel range will be available online and in stores later this month.

Sesame Workshop, the nonprofit behind Sesame Street, is launching a new apparel collection in collaboration with Uniqlo. The KAWS x Sesame Street UT collection includes t-shirts for children and adults featuring illustrations by American graffiti artist KAWS.

The collection will be available online beginning June 28, before launching in select stores on June 29.

As Sesame Street approaches its 50th anniversary in 2019, Sesame Workshop continues to ink new partnerships. Earlier this year, Sesame expanded its fashion and lifestyle offerings with a number of apparel and accessory collection launches in Asia, including Lalabobo (casualwear), Tyakasha (apparel and accessories) and :CHOCOOLATE (apparel).

Additionally, US children’s furnishing company The Land of Nod recently partnered with Sesame Workshop to create a line of décor, furnishings, apparel and accessories inspired by the show’s characters.
