Mumbai, India-based digital entertainment company Kinsane has signed a deal with multiplatform network batteryPOP to distribute its original animated and live-action content throughout the US.
Following the agreement, batteryPOP will be featuring Kinsane’s content on its website, as well as seeking out other VOD and linear media platforms for the content. The partnership is aimed at providing a safe platform for kids to view aggregated, original and branded short-form content including its animated KinToons franchise (pictured).
Created by ex-Nickelodeon and Saban Brands execs, batteryPOP has previously signed US distribution partnerships with Amazon Prime, Ameba, Funbrain, Verizon, Samsung Kids, Kabillion and Poptropica.
The distribution deal follows batteryPOP’s goal of growing its slate of kids content, including previously picking up multiple series from Genius Brands International, such as SpacePOP and Thomas Edison’s Secret Lab, as well as signing brand partnerships with Major League Soccer and HarperCollins Children.
