Fred Rogers Productions and 9 Story Brands are expanding the retail presence of Daniel Tiger’s Neighbourhood with a raft of new licensing partners.
New agreements have been forged with Amloid Corp (construction sets), Babiators (children’s sunglasses), Bioworld Merchandising (backpacks, lunch kits and luggage), BRC Toys (ride-ons, Daniel Tiger’s trolley push car), Chouette Publishing (French-language books for Belgium, Canada, France and Switzerland), Crayola (mess-free drawing pad), Esquire Footwear (footwear), Kahootz Toys (restickable activity sets), Sun-Staches (novelty sunglasses) and Townley (children’s bath products, lip balm and hair accessories).
These new licensees join previously announced partners Topix Media Lab (activity magazines), Cottage Door Press (sound books), Bendon (coloring/activity books) and Happy Threads (apparel). In addition, 9 Story has renewed agreements with BuySeasons Enterprises (party goods), DecoPac (cake decorations) and Smilemakers (stickers and temporary tattoos).
The announcement comes on the heels of 9 Story Media Group’s recent launch of 9 Story Brands. Combining efforts with Out of the Blue Enterprises, which 9 Story Media Group acquired in January, 9 Story Brands focuses on building IPs both on- and off-screen. Its initial portfolio of brands includes Daniel Tiger’s Neighorhood, Super Why!, Peg + Cat, Luo Bao Bei, Wild Kratts, Nature Cat and Colorforms.
Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood is produced by Fred Rogers Production, while 9 Story handles the show’s distribution.
