Nat Geo Kids LatAm has picked up Opa Pupa Dupa, a new puppet-based original series produced by Estudios TeleMexico.

Opa Pupa Dupa (26 x 30 minutes) will bow on Nat Geo Kids’ linear channel, digital platforms and app later this year. Aimed at preschoolers, production on the series is currently underway in Mexico City. It centers around 15 different puppets that go on adventures to teach children about the environment and natural resources, and each episode will feature different sections and themes using humor, music, science, technology, physics, chemistry and games. The series will also include 30 original songs and more than 100 Latin American celebrities to help highlight these topics.

Nat Geo Kids’ linear channel and app launched in LatAm this past summer featuring 400 hours of online and offline content, including Studio 100’s The Wild Adventures of Blinky Bill.
