PBS KIDS series Wild Kratts is heading indoors for its new Wild Kratts Live 2.0 – Activate Creature Power stage show.
The live-action/animated theatrical production will star brothers Martin and Chris Kratt as they partner with Aviva and the rest of the Wild Kratts team to battle a villain and save the day. The show will be interactive, with the brothers sharing information about creatures from around the world and asking audience members to answer questions.
Launching in September, the live show will tour in the US with stops in eight states. Additional dates and cities for 2019 will be announced soon.
The original Wild Kratts Live show launched in 2014 and went on to tour more than 135 North American cities. The announcement of a new stage show is in line with the continued popularity of location-based brand extensions, and live shows in particular. eOne and Nickelodeon have recently seen success with stage shows based on their series PJ Masks and PAW Patrol, respectively.
