UK distributor CAKE is trotting out My Knight and Me to a raft of new broadcasters, following the toon’s global premiere on Cartoon Network and Family Channel in Canada last year.

Produced by France’s TeamTO and Belgium’s Thuristar, the series is making way for Hulu (US), UYoung (China, Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore and Taiwan), YLE (Finland), SVT (Sweden), Televisio Catalunya (Spain), E-Vision (Middle East) and Showmax (Africa).

The 52 x 11-minute medieval comedy series for six- to 11-year-olds follows three knights as they battle witches, dragons and giants. Created and directed by Joeri Christiaen, My Knight and Me is co-produced with Canal+ and TéléTOON+ (France), SuperRTL (Germany), and VRT-Ketnet and RTBF-OuFtivi (Belgium). CAKE holds all global distribution rights.

Turner acquired the series at the end of 2016 for Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Latin American and Asia Pacific. Turner’s Boomerang in the UK bowed the show at the beginning of 2017.
