American Greetings Entertainment (AGE) has tapped UYoung Media to sell and distribute all media rights to Buddy Thunderstruck in Mainland China. The distribution deal is the first of its kind for both companies.

Following the adventures of semi-truck racing dog name Buddy and his albino ferret mechanic in the town of Greasepit, the show is created by AGE and produced by Stoopid Buddy Stoodios.

Buddy Thunderstruck premiered in March 2017 as a Netflix Original series and was recently nominated for two Annie Awards in Outstanding Achievement for Character Design and Best Animated Television/Broadcast Production for Children categories.

Last year also saw the show lead Netflix’s foray into interactive programming with a choose-your-own adventure episode called “Buddy Thunderstruck: The Maybe Pile” (pictured).
