Spanish Broadcasters RTVE and TVC have picked up Scottish production company Red Kite Animation’s animated series Bradley and Bee. The toon will make its Spanish debut in 2019.

Developed by Red Kite and Tomavision, the 52 x 11-minute series follows seven-year-old Bradley and his five-year-old sister as they use their Big Book of Adventure to be transported to other worlds. The show is based on an idea from Scott Downie of Hungry Boy Productions and developed with the support of Creative Scotland and ICEC (Catalan Institute of Cultural Enterprises).

Britain’s Channel 5 picked up Bradley and Bee for its Milkshake! kids block in 2013.

Red Kite is currently working with Germany’s Studio 100 Media to co-produce an animated feature film entitled Princess Emmy – The Movie, which is set to bow this year. The film is based on the popular book series from German publisher Egmont Ehapa.
