Nickelodeon series Sunny Day is being brought to life through a new range of consumer products and live interactive tour. The news comes as a second 20-episode season of the Silvergate Media-produced readies for its premiere on the kidsnet later this year.

In May, Walmart will debut Mattel’s toy line that includes basic and deluxe dolls, accessories, plush, role play and play sets. Additional branded products rolling out this year include apparel, accessories, novelty, publishing and home entertainment, and sporting goods.

Meanwhile, the Sunny Day Tour will kick off at the Bentonville Film Festival (founded by Geena Davis and ARC Entertainment executive Trevor Drinkwater) in Arkansas in May. The US-based initiative will make stops at select Walmart stores throughout the summer. It will be free to the public and include immersive activities, product showcases and episode screenings.

Sunny Day follows a 10-year-old master hairstylist as she goes on adventures in Friendly Falls.
