Florida-based Kids Station Toys has inked a licensing agreement with FremantleMedia North America (FMNA) that will see the manufacturer create American Idol-licensed karaoke and consumer audio products. Launching next year, the range will include WiFi-, Bluetooth- and video-enabled karaoke systems, head phones and Bluetooth speakers.

Kids Station’s American Idol-themed karaoke machines will include features like Pitch Perfection, live recording and streaming, as well as the ability to perform on a mock-up of the American Idol stage. The range’s headphones, earbuds and speakers, meanwhile, will feature digital sound processing, and the speakers will also include light effects that synchronize with the music.

American Idol will return to TV this spring on ABC Television Network in the US. Luke Bryan, Katy Perry and Lionel Richie will serve as the show’s judges, and Ryan Seacrest will return as host.

Last month, Kids Station Toys was named North American master toy partner for One Animation’s animated comedy series Oddbods, and the company will create a range of branded interactive electronic toys, collectibles, blind bags, playsets and plush accessories.
