London-based Looi has inked an agreement with on-demand distribution specialist Janson Media that will make its animated preschool series Looi available to Amazon Prime subscribers. Starting next month, Amazon will stream the series through its SVOD and AVOD services, both in the US and globally.

Looi follows the adventures of Looi the Cat and his magic box. In each episode, Looi pulls shapes from the magic box and, with a wave of his wand, brings the shapes to life in the form of an animal friend.

This agreement follows a deal Amazon Prime Worldwide inked with Janson Media in October to pick up the first season of One Animation’s preschool series Oddbods.

Additionally, Amazon signed an agreement with Zinkia in October to distribute two seasons of the preschool series Pocoyo, plus a range of exclusive Pocoyo content via the Amazon Video Direct self-publishing service.
