Disney XD and Canada’s Corus Entertainment have renewed d-right’s Beyblade Burst Evolution for a second season. The 51 x 22-minute toon will premiere on Disney XD in North America as well as on Corus Entertainment’s Teletoon in Canada in November.
To coincide with the show’s second season premiere, master toy licensee Hasbro will release a Beyblade Burst Switchstrike in the US and Canada in January 2018. Hasbro has also released updates to its Beyblade Burst app that allows users to battle people in more than 90 countries through a multiplayer mode with leader boards, personalized profiles and more.
Beyblade Burst Evolution bowed last December on Disney XD in the US. It has since aired on Teletoon, Cartoon Network (LatAm, Turkey), Nickelodeon (Germany), Channel Go! (Australia), TVNZ (New Zealand), Canal J and Gulli (France), Boing (Spain), Biggs (Portugal) and Star (Greece).
d-rights handles rights in Asia and the Middle East, while its subsidiary, Sunrights Inc., handles activities outside of Asia.
