October 16, 2017

Kids distributors Foothill Entertainment, Jetpack Distribution, Novel Entertainment, Splash Entertainment, Studio 100 and BBC Worldwide are making their content available to buyers on TRX,  an online deal-making tool for buying and selling TV rights. Officially launched this month, TRX facilitates the transactions of buying and selling those rights online including viewing and licensing agreements.

TRX features more than 15,000 hours of content available from 75 distributors and more than 500 buyers. BBC Worldwide, for one, has made its entire catalog available on TRX. Additional companies that have already registered include All3Media International and Discovery Communications.

The platform allows TV buyers to search for content, get instant rights availability and make offers for the shows all online. It was founded in 2014 by former RDF Media and Zodiak execs, brothers David and Matthew Frank.
