Viacom International Media Networks has promoted Layla Lewis to SVP of global acquisitions and partnerships for Nickelodeon.

Dual reporting to Elizabeth Murray, EVP of programming and content strategy for Nickelodeon Group US, and Jules Borkent, EVP of content and network management for Nickelodeon International, Lewis will manage acquisitions for Nickelodeon’s 100-plus locally programmed channels, both domestically and internationally. She will also build partnerships with global content distributors and creators.

Lewis was most recently VP of global content acquisitions at Nickelodeon, a role she held since rejoining the kidsnet in 2013. Prior to that, she held content acquisition roles at both Turner Broadcasting in Hong Kong and Nickelodeon UK.
