Entertainment One (eOne) is expanding Peppa Pig World at Paulton’s Park theme park in Hampshire, UK. The theme park attraction will expand with two new rides—The Queen’s Flying Coach Ride and Grampy Rabbit’s Sailing Club—which will open to the public in May 2018.

The Queen’s Flying Coach Ride will take families on a tour of the newly extended area in individual coaches on a monorail, with panoramic views of Peppa Pig World and Paulton’s Park. The new Grampy Rabbit’s Sailing Club, meanwhile, will see families discovering Pirate Island along the park’s water route. In addition to the new rides, the expansion will include a dedicated baby care center and a new catering outlet called The Queen’s Kitchen.

The new additions join the existing seven rides at Peppa Pig World, along with the park’s indoor play area, water splash area and the largest dedicated Peppa Pig gift shop in the world. Peppa Pig World first opened within Paulton’s Park in 2011.

The preschool brand continues to be a powerhouse for eOne, with total retail sales of US$1.2 billion in fiscal 2017 (up from US$1.1 billion in 2016) and licensing and merchandising revenue of US$59.3 million. The strong performance was driven by growth in the US, where L&M revenue increased by more than 170%.
