Nick Jr. goes global with Kiva Can Do!

Produced by Ireland’s Kavaleer Productions, the series has been licensed worldwide by the preschool network.

Following a deal with distributor Lacey Entertainment, Nick Jr. has picked up Kavaleer Productions’ new animated series Kiva Can Do!  for multiple countries across the globe.

The 52 x 11-minute series will air in Benelux, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Greece, Indonesia, Vietnam and the Philippines for both pay- and free-TV. Nick Jr. has also licensed the series for pay-TV in the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Scandinavia, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Israel, Africa, LatAm, Southeast Asia, India, South Korea and the Arabic-speaking MENA region.

Kiva Can Do! has already been picked up by Lagardère for French-speaking EMEA TV rights.

The toon follows seven-year-old Kiva Kain, a kid inventor with a mind for mechanics. It was created by Kavaleer CEO Andrew Kavanagh and is executive produced by MD Gary Timpson. It is funded in part by the Irish Film Board, the Broadcasting Authority of Ireland, the Section 481 tax credit and Irish pubcaster RTE, and was developed with the assistance of Creative Europe.
