Nickelodeon is set to debut new daily scripted series I am Frankie on September 11. The serialized live-action show will air daily from Monday to Friday at 7:30 p.m.
I am Frankie stars Alex Hook as Frankie Gaines, who, despite looking like a human, is actually a high-tech computer that enrolls as a high school student.
Filmed at Viacom International’s studio in Miami, the series was originally produced as Yo Soy Franky by Nickelodeon Latin America in Colombia. Produced by Paradiso Pictures and Nickelodeon Latin America, the 20-episode English-language series was announced at Nickelodeon’s upfront in March.
A sneak peak will air on Monday, September 4, ahead of the premiere episode. It will be available across all Nickelodeon platforms and distributed to Nickelodeon’s global audiences in more than 170 countries and territories, and across more than 80 channels and branded blocks.
