Dinosaur Roar! brand names master toy partner

UK-based Golden Bear will produce plush and plastic toys, puzzles, games and bath accessories inspired by Nurture Rights' The World of Dinosaur Roar! property.

London-based kids media company Nurture Rights has appointed British toyco Golden Bear as master toy licensee for its World of Dinosaur Roar! preschool property.

Golden Bear’s line will include plush and plastic toys, puzzles, games and bath accessories. The initial launch of puzzles, card games and soft toys will hit select retailers in spring/summer 2018. Additional products—including a collectible figurine range—will roll out in late 2018 and early 2019.

The agreement will also see Golden Bear create products for Nurture’s classic Dinosaur Roar! property. The Dinosaur Roar! brand was acquired by Nurture in 2013 and already has licensing deals in place with Mothercare, Paul Lamond Games, Carousel Calendars, Fashion UK and VMC.

The World of Dinosaur Roar! property is kicking off with a new 26-part collectible series of books from master publishing partner Macmillan’s Children’s Books. Inspired by the classic 1990s picture book Dinosaur Roar! by Paul Stickland and Henrietta Stickland, each title in the new series—penned by Jeanne Willis—teaches preschoolers about dinosaurs with fun facts and pronunciation guides.

The brand is created by Peter Curtis and produced in association with the Natural History Museum in London under a 10-year partnership to develop and market prehistoric property worldwide.

Recently, Golden Bear signed on as UK master toy partner for One Animation’s long-form animated TV series Oddbods. Golden Bear also serves as UK master toy partner for DHX Brands’ preschool property In the Night Garden.
