WBCP, DC take Justice League fan initiative global

The new #JoinTheLeague campaign from Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment will provide fans with digital and retail exclusives inspired by the upcoming film.

Warner Bros. Consumer Products, Warner Bros. Pictures and DC Entertainment have teamed up for a new #JoinTheLeague initiative inspired by the upcoming feature film Justice League.

#JoinTheLeague first launched in the US in April as part of the film’s “Unite The League” campaign, and is now expanding globally to include 13 languages.

Located at www.jointheleague.com, the initiative gives fans a free membership experience that features exclusive content, digital and retail exclusives, product sneak-peeks and user-generated content inspired by DC super heroes like Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, The Flash and Cyborg. In fact, Mattel’s all-new Multiverse Justice League figures and new Batmobile toy made its debut on the platform this week.

Starting this fall, augmented reality (AR) experiences will also be available through the campaign. The online hub will also serve as home to a number of games and sweepstakes, working up to the ultimate grand prize of an invitation-only advanced screening of Justice League before its November debut.

In addition to the digital activations on the #JoinTheLeague platform, Warner Bros. Consumer Products and its partners will also roll out licensed products at retailers around the world. The upcoming items span a number of categories including toys, collectibles, apparel, accessories and home goods. Retailers will also offer tailored and exclusive elements including AR and VR experiences, digital activations and exclusive product reveals.
