The Powerpuff Girls Emporium has set up shop in London’s Soho district. The immersive pop-up experience debuted today and will run until Saturday, June 3.
Kids and adults can explore the pop-up, which features a makeup and nail bar complete with a punching bag, a “Powerpuff Yourself” area that allows guests to customize tote bags, snake and rabbit petting, a coloring wall and a power science laboratory.
Singer and presenter Alesha Dixon (pictured) unveiled the pop-up before it officially opened its doors today. The shop was designed by Cartoon Network EMEA.The Powerpuff Girls currently airs on Cartoon Network in the UK. Rebooted last year, the series has been renewed for a second season.
The pop-up experience comes as the brand continues to expand throughout the UK. The mass-market merchandise rollout in the territory kicked off in January with a line from global master toy partner Spin Master. Since then, the brand’s licensing program has expanded to include publishing, fashion, accessories, gifting, homewares, personal care and back-to-school categories.
Pop-up shops are proving to be popular, as Australian toyco Moose Toys recently announced a pop-up experience of its own to celebrate the launch of World Vacation, the eighth iteration of its hit Shopkins collectible line hitting New York from June 17 to 19.
