WildBrain to shape Larva’s YouTube presence

The DHX-owned network will grow TUBA n's Larva channel worldwide, with a strong focus on monetizing US viewership.

South Korea’s TUBA n has tapped DHX Media-owned WildBrain to globally manage the YouTube channel for its short-form CGI series Larva.

The agreement will see the multiplatform kids network exclusively helm the Larva TUBA channel, providing content production services and audience development expertise. WildBrain will focus on growing the channel worldwide, strengthening relationships with YouTube influencers and monetizing viewing in all global markets, with a particular focus on the US.

Larva is produced by TUBA n and airs on Korean public broadcaster KBS. The 104 x two-minute series follows the lives of Red and Yellow, two worms that are entertained by the objects and animals that find their way into the sewer.

WildBrain continues to lead in the management and creation of kids content on YouTube. Earlier this year, the network inked a deal with Turner International to manage a number of its YouTube channels in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Latin America.

WildBrain was also recently tapped¬†to manage American Greetings Entertainment’s Madballs YouTube Channel and will exclusively operate Moose Toy’s global YouTube channels based on the Australian toyco’s Shopkins, Happy Places, Grossery Gang and Twozies brands.
