Dublin-based distributor Monster Entertainment has secured a raft of deals for Jabu’s Jungle, including the sale of season two to Gulli Africa and a full series pickup by India’s Ultra Media for its streaming service in all South Asian countries.

The sales follow the show’s recent acquisition by Econet Media for 17 African countries.

The 13 x 22-minute animated series follows Jabu and his magic talking drum. It includes vibrant Afro-pop music and is produced by Cape Town’s Pixcomm in the Masiphumelele Township, which provide training and internships to young animators.

Production on Jabu’s Jungle‘s third season will begin soon.
