The first season of DHX’s rebooted Teletubbies series will air on pubcaster KiKA, following an exclusive deal with the German broadcaster.

KiKA first aired the original series in 1999.

Launched in November 2015, the revamped Teletubbies is now available in more than 24 territories worldwide on Nick Jr. (US), Family Jr. (Canada), Gulli (France), ABC Kids (Australia), TVE (Spain), CBeebies (Africa, Asia and Poland), among others.

UK production company Darrall Macqueen was commissioned last year by DHX and CBeebies to create 60 more episodes of the show.  The series also has a booming licensing program, with more than 85 partners signed on to date.
