hoopla digital adds Sesame Street content

The licensing agreement will bring Sesame Street content to the digital library platform across the US and Canada.

Interactive library platform hoopla digital has signed a licensing agreement with Sesame Workshop that will bring Sesame Street titles—including eBooks, e-comic books and TV episodes—to participating public libraries across the US and Canada.

The new Sesame Street content has been curated to focus on reading, literacy, libraries and communities, and is accessible to library-card holders via mobile download or at

The titles join hoopla digital’s library of more than 600,000 eBooks, audiobooks, comics, movies, music and TV shows. Last year, hoopla inked a deal with another iconic brand, Archie Comics, to add a number of titles to its library, including Archie and Jughead, Sonic the Hedgehog and Mega Man. 

To date, the company has partnered with more than 1,400 public library systems across North America.
