With Star Wars: The Last Jedi readying for its big-screen debut this December, Disney is ensuring the brand continues to draw eyes to the small screen, too. The House of Mouse has ordered a fourth season of  Star Wars Rebels, which will premiere on Disney XD later this year.

The show’s third season, which includes an appearance from actor Forest Whittaker, is currently airing. It was Disney XD’s number one series in total viewers last year, and drove more than 60 million consumer engagements across digital platforms. The UK Toy Retailers Association also named the Star Wars Rebel U-Wing Fighter one of the top 12 toys to watch this past Christmas.

Star Wars Rebels is created by Dave Filoni (Star Wars: The Clone Wars), Simon Kinberg (X-Men: Days of Future Past) and Carrie Beck. It follows the Star Wars universe just before Rogue One, which grossed nearly US$300 million globally in its opening weekend.
