A week after former DreamWorks consumer products boss Jim Fielding took the retail reins at 20th Century Fox Film and Fox Television group, the division has appointed a new leadership team that includes three more ex-DreamWorks vets.
Effective immediately, DreamWorks’ former head of global product development Ann Buckingham is now Fox Consumer Products SVP of global creative and product development. Buckingham, who also previously served at Disney, will be responsible for FCP’s creative assets, product development and project management.
In addition, DreamWorks’ former head of global licensing Tim Erickson has joined Fox as SVP of global licensing and operations, while Erin Morris is now SVP of the division’s global retail business development, after most recently serving as DreamWorks’ global head of sales and marketing.
Erickson will leverage his DreamWorks experience, as well as time spent as a Disney and Lego exec, by leading FCP’s licensee partnerships worldwide.
For Morris, her new remit will entail global retail account relationships and the handling of FCP’s marketing and e-commerce business.
Also joining the team as SVP of international operations is former Saban Brands SVP of global consumer products, Kirk Bloomgarden. He will handle FCP’s business outside of North America, with a focus on agent relationships.
Rounding out the new leadership team is former Equinox Group consultant Eva Steortz, who joins as SVP of global brand business development. She she will manage content partner relationships and grow global brand strategies for all of FCP’s key properties. Prior to a four-year stint with Equinox, Steortz spent 20 years at the House of Mouse in various sales and marketing roles.
