DHX Media’s WildBrain will exclusively manage Moose Toys’ global YouTube channels based on the Australian’s toyco’s Shopkins (pictured), Happy Places, Grossery Gang and Twozies brands. WildBrain is an online network focused on connecting kids content owners with advertising video-on-demand (AVOD) platforms.

As part of the deal, WildBrain will focus on growing watch times, views and revenue for the brands, while also strengthening relationships with YouTube influencers by creating paid media campaigns.

The Shopkins channel alone has more than 310,000 subscribers and 210 million views, and Moose says the new partnership is designed to extend the IP’s global reach.

Since its conception last April, Wildbrain has launched YouTube channels for Turner International in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Latin Americas for The Powerpuff Girls, Adventure Time and Ben 10. In DHX’s Q1 2017 report, WildBrain’s revenue increased 68% to US$4.4 million.
