Love, Divina, the new music-driven tween series from Televisa (Mexico City), Pol-ka Producciones (Argentina) and Federation Kids & Family (Paris), has been sold to De Agostini’s Super! channel in Italy.
The 2017 debut on Super! marks the launch of the show’s broadcast and licensing strategy in an important European market.
The 60 x 45-minute series follows Divina as she takes a group of homeless kids under her wing. It features teen pop star Laura Esquivel, who leads Televisa’s Patito Feo, which currently airs in more than 40 countries (including Italy).
Love, Divina will debut in Argentina in January, followed by Televisa’s digital platform BLIM in Mexico and Latin America, and Free TV in Mexico. The show’s European rights are managed by Federation and Televisa.
The move marks one of the first projects for Federation Kids & Family after it formed last December. The company is also behind the upcoming daily teen series Paris Opera in collaboration with ZDF and ZDF Enterprises.
