Deer Little Forest, an arts and lifestyle preschool brand created by Jo Rose of Koko Rose Media, has teamed up with Icon Licensing to release products in Russia and CIS. The deal brings the IP’s reach to 27 countries worldwide.

Icon Licensing, which also reps brands like Sega, will bring Deer Little Forest picture books, paper products, toys, apparel and confectionery to the 12 countries that are a part of Russia and CIS.

Additional licensing agents on-board the IP include Brand Licensing by Burda in Germany, Think Tank Emporium in the US and Canada, and Empire Multimedia in China, Korea and South East Asia.

Deer Little Forest launched as greeting cards in the UK in 2013. The push into Russia follows promises made late in 2015 to grow the brand, which recently launched as a preschool-app on iOS and Android and gained a global distribution partner in Bejuba! Entertainment.

Rose is also behind upcoming animated preschool series Flora of the Forest (52 x 11 minutes), which will be released in 2017.
