Popular Disney Junior animated series Doc McStuffins has been renewed for a fifth season.

Throughout its run, the show has received high ratings, consistently ranking in the top 10 of preschool series on cable. Each episode also averages 16 million views on the Disney Junior app.

Doc McStuffins was picked up by Hulu in 2015, which Disney says has enabled it to reach 150 million views worldwide each quarter.

The series focuses on a young girl who aspires to be a doctor like her mother. As such, it often revolves around health-related issues, but it has also gained particular attention for its main character.

In fact, a group of female African-American physicians began a movement based on the show called “We are Doc McStuffins,” because they saw themselves in the character. The group now has 4,700 members worldwide.
