It looks like Toys “R” Us will be focusing more on the early bird than the turkey this US Thanksgiving weekend.

Across the US, the mass-market retailer will be open for 30 straight hours in anticipation of Black Friday shoppers, opening its doors at 5 p.m. on Thursday, November 24 through 11 p.m. on Friday, November 25.

Thousands of employees have been hired to allow Toys “R” Us to stay open throughout the two days. And on top of the round-the-clock shopping, the retailer is also offering a number of in-store holiday services.

While the Price Match Guarantee will not be available on Thanksgiving through Cyber Monday, the program will be relaunched for the holiday season, allowing customers to buy products at prices that are competitive with retailers like Amazon, Best Buy, GameStop, JCPenney, Kmart, Macy’s, Sears, Target and Walmart.

Throughout November, a number of Gurus for Play Stuff—or G.P.S. Navigatorswill be stationed at the front of Toys “R” Us stores to help steer shoppers in the right direction, while Toysrus.com/Guide will help pinpoint the exact in-store location of coveted playthings.

Also throughout the holiday season, Toys “R” Us will provide free store pickup for products purchased online, as well as free shipping for online purchases of US$19 or more.

The retailer has had the critical holiday season in the foreground since September, when it officially announced its 2016 Holiday Hot Toy ListToys “R” Us has been making ongoing moves as part of its ongoing transformation strategy, including its sale of FAO Schwarz to ThreeSixty Group last month.
