Hasbro has renewed two of its most popular series, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic and My Little Pony: Equestria Girls.

My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic (pictured) will return to Discovery Family Channel with its seventh season in spring 2017. Additionally, My Little Pony: Equestria Girls will be back with three new TV specials in 2017. The 22-minute specials will follow this year’s Legends of Everfree TV movie.

The renewals follow on the heels of Hasbro and Lionsgate announcing the animated feature film My Little Pony: The Movie, which will premiere worldwide on October 6, 2017. The film will feature vocal talent from Uzo Aduba (Orange is the New Black), Emily Blunt (Gnomeo & Juliet), Kristen Chenoweth (Rio 2), Taye Diggs (Best Man Holiday), Michael Pena (Ant-Man) and Live Schrieber (Spotlight).

In other Hasbro news, the Rhode Island-based company is bringing its brands to life with the first-ever HASCON. The fan and family convention will take place in September 2017 at the Rhode Island Convention Center and Dunkin Donuts Center from September 8 to 10.

The celebration of Hasbro’s most iconic properties will include live interactive experiences, exclusive products, talent appearances and panels. Along with My Little Pony, Hasbro brands like Transformers, Nerf, Magic the Gathering, Play-Doh, Monopoly and G.I. Joe will be celebrated at HASCON.
