Dawn Ciccone upped at PBS KIDS

As VP of brand licensing, Ciccone will expand categories while developing new retail partnerships and e-commerce initiatives.

PBS has promoted Dawn Ciccone to VP of brand licensing.

Formerly senior director of brand licensing, Ciccone will continue to lead PBS KIDS‘ licensing efforts, including the expansion of licensees and categories, as well as the development of new retail partnerships.

Ciccone will also collaborate with series producers to expand PBS KIDS’ educational media properties and grow e-commerce initiatives for the pubcaster and its nearly 350 member stations.

Since joining PBS in 2004, Ciccone has helped build the PBS KIDS licensing and partnership business. She secured the pubcaster’s first master toy licensee to develop a PBS KIDS-branded line of educational toys and accessories. Since then, she has built more than 30 trademark licensing and partnership collaborations for the brand. (Revenue from licensed PBS KIDS products—including toys, books and crafts—helps support new curriculum-based media content for children.)

Previously, Ciccone served as VP of entertainment licensing at Sports Marketing Group, and as director of studio relations for Kodak’s Entertainment Imaging Division.
