DHX Brands has appointed 10 new UK licensees for its preschool property Teletubbies.
The agreements, brokered by DHX-owned CPLG UK, include Alligator (car travel accessories), Euroactive (cots, moses baskets, bouncers, toddler beds), Finsbury Foods (celebration cakes), Sambo International (arts, crafts and outdoor games), Solutions EU (baby kitchen accessories), Spearmark (lighting), Ultimate Products Global Sourcing (wet wipes, tissues, kitchen roll), Vivid (Crayola Kids), Walltastic (wall stickers) and William Lamb (footwear).
The announcement comes as DHX continues to boost the brand’s CP program. Recently, a number of new licensees were also added in North America.
Worldwide, more than 75 licensing deals have been signed for the reboot of the preschool brand. Existing licensees include Character Options (master toy partner), Sony Pictures Home Entertainment (DVD, digital) and publishers Egmont (global rights excluding North America and China) and Simon & Schuster (North America).
Teletubbies first launched in March 1997 and the show’s original episodes have aired in more than 120 territories in 45 languages. The brand’s YouTube content receives more than 100 million views per month.
