New animated preschool series Kazoops will make its US and Canadian debut on Netflix on September 2.

The series—from Australian TV producer Cheeky Little Media—will be available on Netflix in a bumper 19-minute format made up of 3 x seven-minute episodes. The first season will include seven episodes and a further 19 episodes will follow in Q1 2017.

Kazoops went to air in Australia and the UK this summer, scoring 24.2% of the CBeebies audience in its second week on the UK pubcaster.

The series follows the adventures of six-year-old Monty and his pet pig Jimmy Jones as they challenge preconceptions with creative play and critical thinking. Each episode sees Monty and Jimmy Jones enter a make-believe world and features a unique two-minute song.

Paying homage to the art of Claymation, sequences in Monty’s make-believe worlds integrate CGI and 2D-animated graphic elements that results in imagery the viewers can recreate themselves with simple craft materials at home.
