Pokemon, Shopkins among UK Licensing Awards finalists

UK-based org The Licensing Awards has unveiled the 2016 nominees in its property categories, which nods the best licensed IPs from preschool to teen genres.

Leading up to The Licensing Awards’ September announcement of its 2016 winners, the UK-based org has unveiled the nominees in its property category, which includes Best Preschool, Best Children’s or Tween and Best Film Licensed IPs.

This year’s finalists¬†will be revealed at a special ceremony attended by more than 1,400 retailers, licensees, licensors and industry suppliers on September 13 at The Great Room in London’s Grosvenor House Hotel.

The finalists, which were chosen by a panel of experienced retailers and licensees, are detailed below:

Best preschool licensed property:
