CGI-animated series Bottersnikes & Gumbles is set to bow in international territories on Netflix on August 19. The 26 x 11-minute episodes will premiere in 17 languages worldwide, with the exception of Australia and the UK, which will launch on Netflix in 2017.

The series—aimed at children six and up—will also debut in the UK on CBBC on July 25, and it is currently airing on Australia’s Seven Network.

Bottersnikes & Gumbles is a Netflix original produced by UK-based CAKE Entertainment and Australian prodcos Cheeky Little Media and Mighty Nice. The series is also co-produced with CBBC and Seven Network Australia.

It was developed and adapted from the characters and world depicted in the popular Bottersnikes and Gumbles book series by S.A. Wakefield.

A number of L&M agents have been lined up by CAKE Entertainment and Cheeky Little Media, including Lisle International for the UK and Ireland, and The Fusion Agency in Australia. And recently, through a joint acquisition with HarperCollins Australia, HarperCollins UK announced its plans to publish The Adventures of Bottersnikes and Gumbles book series.
