July 15, 2016

Moose Toys is marking its first-ever appearance at Comic-Con International in San Diego with the debut of Jessicake Limited Edition Golden Cupcake. The Comic-Con exclusive Shoppies doll will be limited to 2,000 units worldwide and sold exclusively at the convention from July 20 to 24, making it the rarest doll to join the Shoppies line.

Two additional dolls—Coco Cupcake and Cherry Cake—will be included as their exclusive golden versions. The limited-edition dolls come with an exclusive VIP card that unlocks additional content in the Shopkins Shopville app.

Consumers will also have an opportunity to win Jessicake Limited Edition Gold Cupcake through an online contest.

Shoppies are an extension of Moose Toys’ Shopkins collectibles. Since its launch in 2014, Shopkins has skyrocketed in popularity, making the Melbourne-based Moose Toys the fastest-growing toyco in the US. More than 600 million Shopkins characters have been sold in the US to date.

As a follow-up, Moose Toys recently launched two new collectible brands, The Grossery Gang and Twozies.
