Former MGA Entertainment and Disney Consumer Products exec Bruce Morrison will look to guide the licensee's expansion plans.
May 5, 2016

Poster, calendar, stationery and sticker company and leading licensee Trends International has hired Bruce Morrison as its new president and COO, effective immediately.

The Indiana-based company’s current president and CEO Phil St. Jean will stay on as CEO.

Morrison, who previously held senior management positions at MGA Entertainment and Disney Consumer Products, will be located at Trends’ Indianapolis facility. He will be tasked with guiding the company’s next phase of growth and building on its mandate to create integrated product solutions for retailers, licensors and consumers.

Earlier this year, Trends International snapped up the license to make posters, calendars and stickers based on the revived Trolls IP. The company also recently picked up the Shopkins poster license.

Founded in 1987, Trends International is a part of the Trends International Group, which includes Trends International Publishing Corporation in Canada, Trend Global Mexico and Total Retail Services in Indianapolis.
