Disney Media Distribution and Networks has upped longtime Mouse House exec Mia Rondinella to SVP of global distribution and strategy and former senior director of affiliate sales for Disney Media Networks Jimmy Zasowski to VP of business strategy.

In her new L.A.-based role, Rondinella will oversee Disney Media Networks’ domestic affiliate sales and marketing business strategy group, and manage the global distribution business operations and strategy team for Disney Media Distribution. She most recently served as VP of consumer data and analytics for Disney/ABC Television Group, where she provided analytics expertise to ad sales, marketing, consumer insights and digital media.

After joining Disney in 2001 as an associate in corporate strategic planning, Rondinella helped found Disney Media Networks’ strategy organization in 2007, which covered Disney/ABC Television Group services including ABC, Disney Channels and Freeform (formerly ABC Family).

Meanwhile, in his new role as VP of business strategy, Zasowski will report to Rondinella from New York and is tasked with developing and executing distribution strategies, including models for new products and services, for Disney Media Networks’ existing and new distribution partners. In his most recent position as senior director of affiliate sales for Disney Media Networks, Zasowski led multiplatform content distribution and licensing for the ABC/Disney/ESPN portfolio.
