FremantleMedia makes UK appointments

Former V&S exec Kirstie Brockett has joined FremantleMedia Kids & Family, while Chapman Maddox has a new elevated position.
April 14, 2016

In her new remit reporting to FremantleMedia Kids & Family, global brand director Nicola Herrmann, Kirstie Brockett (pictured) will manage the company’s popular preschool properties Kate & Mim-Mim and Ella The Elephant, as well as classic FMK properties, including Rainbow and Count Duckula.

Brockett was previously assistant producer and brand manager atĀ UK-based V&S Entertainment, and worked primarily on its hit animated preschool series Everything’s Rosie.

FMK development director Chapman Maddox, meanwhile, is moving from L.A. to London to take on the role of VP of development and production. He will continue his work as executive producer on the animated reboot Danger Mouse, plus develop new IPs and helm existing series production.

The hiring of Brockett is particularly timely as FMK is launching the toy program for Kate & Mim-Mim this year. And Maddox arrives as the company looks to expand its kids and family fare beyond animation into unscripted formats.
